The Arnold Palmer designed, TPC Twin Cities is a 6,794 meter, par-71. An extremely flat course with water hazards in play on 13 of the 18 holes. TPC Twin Cities is a relatively new to the tour and this is the tournaments 3rd year. The 2 previous winners shot -21 and -19 so we're looking for players that have proven they can go low.
Course: TPC Twin Cities Blaine, Minnesota
Sergio Garcia: The Spaniard is a genuine threat anytime ball-striking is relied on so heavily. He has carved out four consecutive top four finishes including at both the US Open and The Open Championship. Ranks 18th SG: Tee to Green, 3rd SG: Off The Tee, 8th in Ball Striking, 36th Birdie or Better and 15th in GIR%.
Bubba Watson: Missed out last week because of Covid which means he is one of the better Ball Strikers in the field not suffering from jetlag. Before that he finished T6 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic and T19 before that at the Travelers Championship where he was all but set to win before a back nine meltdown. Two top 10s in his last eight tournaments with three more top 20s. Ranks 31st SG: Tee to Green, 7th SG: Off the Tee, 30th in Ball Striking,
Emiliano Grillo: Finished T3 here last year, Grillo is someone who always seems to be there or thereabouts after two rounds, but fails to kick on and add to his 2015 Frys.com Open win. He profiles well here, so do consider. T34 at the Shriners last year, he ranks 45th SG: Tee to Green, 33rd SG: Off the Tee, 12th SG: Approach, 5th GIR%, 29th in Birdie or Better and 4th in Ball Striking.
Keegan Bradley: Bradley is still one of the most elite ball strikers on tour. Has made 11 of his last 14 cuts finishing no worse than T30 in those 11 tournaments. Two top 10s and three more top 18 finishes in that run too. Ranks 6th on Tour SG: Tee to Green, 32nd SG: Off the Tee, 6th in Ball Striking, 4th SG: Approach and 23rd GIR%. Just needs a tour average week with the putter.
James Hahn: A streaky player who finished T5 at last week’s Barbasol Championship making his debut here. Misses a lot of cuts but contends when he plays on the weekend. Just look back to his run late last year, T9 (Safeway Open), T6 (Corales Puntacana) and T5 (Shriners) in consecutive starts. Ranks 8th in Ball Striking, 22nd in GIR%, 46th Birdie or Better % and 5th Par 4 Efficiency (450-500yds).
